You may have read my story or at least bits and pieces of it…
I was a long time Kratom eater until I learned that I had become addicted to it. It sneaks up on you quick.
When I realized I had a problem I tried quitting cold turkey but the withdrawals we’re terrible. It was like having the flu… The worst part was not being able to sleep. I need sleep or I’m a zombie 💀 during the day…
I had a hard time letting myself feel like garbage when I knew I could just take some Kratom and feel good again…
I did a ton of research online and discovered tapering. I tried it out and hey! It worked!
I was able to reduce my dose down low enough where I could sleep through the night. At that point I was able to quit cold turkey and never look back.
Years later I met a guy in Bali who loved Kratom. We was always posting on Facebook about how safe it is and how there’s no risk to taking it. I think he was selling it…
I commented on his post that I thought Kratom was great but that people should he careful because it’s addicting. He proceeded to flame me and tell everyone how ignorant I was and how I should get a clue… Grrrrr I was pissed.
So, I started kickkratom.com out of spite. I wanted to prove to this loser that Kratom is indeed addicting and that it’s a growing problem.
Even I had no idea how big of a problem it is…
I’ve now talked to thousands of you all going through the same thing.
Kickkratom.com has become about more than proving a point. It’s now about helping people get control of their lives back.
If you are struggling with quitting kratom, share your story. We will help you figure it out and stay on track. You’re not alone. A lot of people have quit Kratom before so you can do it too!
April 12, 2019 at 5:21 am #931Dude ….ugh this rediculous plant. It does seriously sneak up on you. It’s only been in recent months or so that I have become a slave to it. I used to be able to use it all the time and have little to no withdrawals. After daily use of a year and taking it for legitimate pain from an injury , I’m now stuck. I literally am trying to cold turkey tomorrow. So here we go. I was using extracts , then tried to go to powder and the withdrawals became worse. Now I have no choice. I don’t want to be dependant anymore. Too costly and too much of my life is spent trying to feel normal now and the side effects are rediculous.
Wish me luck
Choco

I recommend looking into The Wim Hof Method. It’s a breathing technique. You do it once or twice a day and it is really good for the body.
I’ve heard others say it’s good for withdrawals.
If cold turkey is too hard, you can always try tapering down your dose.
April 14, 2019 at 3:01 am #946I’m looking into the wim hof method tonight and I will update as I get a few more days clean time from this stuff. Thanks for the encouragement. I am still going strong. 💪

Good job. Win Hof will help. Keep it up!
April 15, 2019 at 8:20 pm #948Ok man I don’t know how this plant can cause this much discomfort. I caved at day 3. It’s just not doable with a full time job. I’m wondering if taking a lower dose (say 5 grams) a day would be a better option and wean down from there ?
Sheesh this is rediculous.April 11, 2021 at 11:00 am #1261Is this still an active forum?
I hope so 😁 -
